Lyric Annotation Poster: Everything Eats and Is Eaten

Tasked with visual Lyric Annotation, I chose to investigate the words of singer songwriter Adrianne Lenker. In the song Ingydar, she describes themes of infatuation, heartbreak, loss, and melancholia. Through a deliberate exploration of decay, much like Lenkers music, I sought to evoke the transient nature of existence and the interconnectedness of all things. By incorporating elements of deterioration and impermanence into the visual representation of the lyrics, I intended to remind the viewer of the inevitability of change and the fragile beauty inherent in life’s fleeting moments.
